Riftwalker follows Felix, a whimsical and distracted man whose partner, Dara, is the emotional and practical anchor of their relationship. When she reveals a life-threatening diagnosis late in pregnancy, Felix retreats into absurd and fantastical visions, alternate realities that may exist only in his mind, or perhaps somewhere beyond. As Dara continues to carry the weight of their shared reality, Felix spirals, walking the fragile rift between denial and presence. After a breakdown forces him to confront the truth, he begins to accept his new role, later dancing with their baby in his arms, still uncertain of the future, but finally grounded in it.
